Master DJI: "Sispann"
This is the very first haitian rap song and apparently the first (caribbean) kreyol rap song. It was a huge hit in Haiti and is considered a classic of haitian music in any category. It was released in 1987 and DJI went on to release his first album "Politik Pa'm" in 1989.
Top Adlerman: "Yo Bwe Pwa"
This is the first song on Adlerman's solo effort "Tet Yo Cho" released in 1999. Ex-member of the group Original Rap Staff, "Pwofet La"released a great album for his fans to enjoy. This is the only "hardcore rap" song of the album.
New Creation: "Evolution"
This song is from the album of the same name. I know little about these guys; apparently they're based in Miami. If you have any info on them please contact us.
Brigade: "Analize"
This is a new group in the rap kreyol scene that promise to blow up big. This song is (I think) their second single and will be featured on their upcoming album "Ayisyen Pou Lavi".
Jahmala: "Zel Nan Pye"
We got this song from their first album "Let's Party". This is a very innovative track which blends Kompa and Rap together with great results.
